Emmett E. Lott

Corpl., 9th Anti-Aircraft Bty. Born in Henderson County; the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Lott. Entered the service June 23, 1917, at Hendersonville, N.C. Was sent to Ft. Caswell and from there to Upton. Sailed for France July 12, 1918. Stationed at Toul Sector and at Paris. Landed in the USA March 7, 1919, and was mustered out at Camp Lee, Va., March 24, 1919.

Katherine Mary Lott, 53, of Baker City, died Nov. 3, 2005, after a very courageous and long battle with cervical cancer. Her memorial service was Sunday at the Eagles Lodge. Kathy was born on Sept. 28, 1952, to Ervin and Virginia Burch at North Platte, Neb. She married John Leon Lott Sr. on Dec. 4, 1971, at Springfield.
