Funeral services for Leonard R. Leep, 43, 2350 F. Street who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at St. Elizabeth Hospital last night, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from West and Co. Chapel. Joe Jewett will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mr. Leep was born in Halfway on May 12, 1916. He moved with his parents to Baker about 14 years ago and had been employed as a truck driver. William Robert Leep, 1415 4th St., Baker died Sunday evening at St. Elizabeth Hospital following an extended illness. He was 81. Mr. Leep was born Dec. 2, 1889 at Halfway, the son of pioneer parents Ellis and Lottie Reed Leap. He attended grade school in Carson, Ore., and graduated from Pine Valley High School on Nov. 11, 1911. He was married to the former Jane E. Haines. She preceded him in death in August 1961.
