Henry William Kuechenmeister, born January 22, 1877, in Chicago, is a key figure in St. Louis’s industrial sector as the secretary and treasurer of the St. Louis Paper Can Tube Company, which he helped grow from modest beginnings to a significant enterprise. Alongside his brother, John Henry Kuechenmeister, he has been instrumental in its success. Additionally, he serves in leadership roles in various companies and organizations, reflecting his commitment to business and community development while maintaining an independent political stance.

Biographical Sketch of John Henry Kuechenmeister

John Henry Kuechenmeister, born March 10, 1875, in Chicago, was the president of the St. Louis Paper Can and Tube Company. His father, John Kuechenmeister, emigrated from Germany in 1868, and his mother, Bertha Schwartz, also of German descent, married in Chicago. After starting a paper-box factory, Kuechenmeister moved to St. Louis, where he established his successful company. He is involved in real estate through the Martha Investment Company and maintains a Lutheran faith. Kuechenmeister and his wife, Martha Seidel, have two sons.
