Konatsotis

Corporal M. P. Co. of the 11th Division, born in Forsyth County to John and Mrs. Konatsotis, entered military service on July 22, 1918, in Albany, N.Y. He served in the Greek Army, attaining the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, and participated in battles at Pestor, Lahana, and Cikis Pegana. Wounded in the left arm and right shoulder, he received the liberty medal and three others. He also served in the French Army and was discharged honorably before re-enlisting in the U.S., mustering out at Camp Meade on February 1, 1919.
