Oglethorpe and from there to Camp Merritt. Sailed for France July 2, 1918. Fought at Meuse-Argonne, Toul Sector. Received machine gun wound October 16th at Argonne and was sent to Base Hospital No. 45. Received one wound chevron and one gold service chevron. Mustered out at Camp Grant, Ill., July 8, 1919.
