Mabel Kinkade, 86, a long-time resident of Kittitas County, died Tuesday November 10, 1981 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Born May 1, 1895, in Bottineau, ND, she came to the Kittitas Valley at the age of five with her parents. Her father, Ben Olson, managed the old Tjossem Flouring Mill, where the Millpond Mobile Manor now stands. She married Dallas Kinkade in 1917. He preceded her in death in 1951, as did two brothers and two sisters. She had lived off the Kittitas Highway all her married life and moved to Idaho six years ago. R. M. Kinkade, Pioneer, dies. Farmed in valley over Half-Century. Rawlin Madison (Roll) Kinkade, 86-year-old long-time Kittitas Valley resident and the last surviving son of a pioneer valley family, died last night [February 16, 1955] in Sorensen Memorial Hospital here. In ill health for some time, he had been hospitalized 12 days Kinkade came to the Kittitas Valley with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. David Kinkade, in September, 1882. Kinkade, Martha Cerena Hutson – Obituary

Mattie G. Kinkade, 87, former resident of Ellensburg, died Tuesday April 11, 1967 in a Puyallup Nursing Home. Before moving to Puyallup four years ago, Mrs. Kinkade had resided for many years in Ellensburg. She was a native of Texas, born April 13, 1879. The body was returned to Ellensburg by the Evenson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be announced from Evenson’s. Martha was the daughter of David Hutson and Mary Crane. She was buried in the IOOF Cemetery.

Kinkade, Eva E. Churchill – Obituary

Mrs. Eva E. Kinkade passed away at 12:30 Wednesday morning [September 12, 1929] after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, John W. Kinkade, a son, Dallas Kinkade, and two brothers, C. C. Churchill of Ellensburg and Lincoln C., of Alaska and one sister, Miss Ann Churchill of this city. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Honeycutt mortuary parlors and interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery. The Rev. K. E. Burke will officiate.
