Phillip Eugene Kimpel, a highly respected farmer of Mount Pleasant Township, was born in Buffalo, New York, June 18, 1865, a son of George and Mary Magdalena. (Hettenmeyer) Kimpel, whom in the year 1867 came to Racine County, where the father worked at the butcher’s trade until 1885.
