Kanner

Gabriel Kanner was born on October 18, 1858, in Hungary to Alexander and Edith Kanner. He married Nettie Price in New York City on November 22, 1880, and they had four children. Kanner served as the general agent for the Canada Life Association Company and was actively involved in his community as a trustee of the Aushe Emeth Congregation and the Moses Montiforce Hebrew School, as well as being a member of the Hungarian Benevolent Society of New York, K. of P., and I. O. B. A.
