Soon after World War 1 localities across the country wished to honor the men and women who had served the Nation from their locality. St. Charles County, Missouri, is one of these counties. This manuscript isn’t limited to just the men who fought overseas, it also includes the women who had participated via Red Cross and the men who had actively served in the various campaigns backing the War here at home.

Horstman, Dolores Rose – Obituary

Dolores (Dode) Rose Horstman, 77, of La Grande died Feb. 22 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Walla Walla. At her request there will be no public services. Those who wish may sign the guest book on-line at www.danielsknopp.com. Dolores was born Oct. 20, 1930, to Charles and Velma (Weidman) Marra in Red Oak, Iowa. She was the only child.
