Garity, Lois Elise – Obituary

Lois Elise Garity, 96, of La Grande, died Sept. 18 at a local care center. Funeral services will be announced later by Daniels Chapel of the Valley. Lois was born on March 26, 1911, to Joseph and Lilly Zwiefel in Summerville. She was educated at the Pleasant Grove School. She married Chester Michael Garity, who worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. She was involved with the Women’s Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
