Biographical Sketch of P. Follis

P. Follis, proprietor of the Sioux City House, was born in Ireland in 1817; came to America in 1843, and settled in Fall River, Mass. He removed to Dubuque, Iowa, Sept. 15th, 1845, and from there to this city in 1868. He has served as school director and in other town official capacities. He married Margaret Conway. They have four children-William S., Mary, Michael E. and Ellen.
