Linda Carel Farster, 66, a former longtime Baker City resident, died Sept. 2, 2009, at Ontario. There will be a private memorial service at Burns where she will be buried next to her parents in the Burns Cemetery. Linda was born on Oct. 20, 1942, to Grace and Burdette Farster of Burns. She resided at Baker City for many years where she lived and worked in the Step Forward program. She recently retired and moved to Ontario.
