Alice Jane Sowash, 74, died at her home on Petaluma Avenue, Sunday afternoon [November 27, 1949]. Mrs. Sowash was found by her husband, Jacob A. Sowash, lying on a couch. She apparently suffered a heart attack. Mrs. Sowash had been under a doctor’s care for several months. Mrs. Sowash was native of Eureka, coming to Sebastopol seven years ago. She was active in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Sowash celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently. She was the mother of Irvus R.
