Halfway, Baker County, Oregon Former Resident of County Dead J.G. Canaday Passes in Portland; Lived at Halfway J.G. Canaday, former Baker and Halfway resident, died in the I.O.O.F. home in Portland Sunday morning, according to information received here. Mr. Canaday came to Oregon in the early 80’s before the railroad was built through this section.
