Edmund Woodbridge Buffon, born on November 30, 1875, in Beatrice, Nebraska, has dedicated over twenty years to educational work and currently serves as the superintendent of Centralia’s city schools. His family heritage traces back to Denmark, and he grew up in Jackson County, Kansas. Buffon earned a Bachelor of Pedagogy from Campbell University in 1914 and held various educational posts across Missouri and Kansas. He is also active in community organizations, churches, and has a family of five children with his wife, Minnie M. Gates.
