Baker City, Oregon Roland Gilbert “Gib” Walker, 77, of Nampa, Idaho, died Feb. 14, 2004, at his home after battling multiple myeloma cancer for two years. His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Meridian United Methodist Church. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Finnish Cemetery near Lake Fork, Idaho. The Heikkila Funeral Chapel of McCall, Idaho, is in charge of arrangements. Gib was born on Jan. 8, 1927, on a 30-degree day at Winthrop, Wash., to Clarence and Goldie Walker.
