Kelley, Harry E. Mrs. – Obituary

Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Mrs. Harry E. Kelley died Sunday, Nov. 3, at the family home at Washtucna, Wash., after an illness of only about a week. Mr. Kelley was here last week when he received word that she was seriously ill and he hastened home. Death was caused by an abscess at the base of the brain. Three small sons survive their mother. Jordan, Merwin “Rusty” – Obituary

Merwin “Rusty” Jordan, 88, a former Baker City resident, died Dec. 7, 2002, at Eugene. No service is planned. Poole Larson is in charge of arrangements. Rusty was born Nov. 6, 1914, in Washtucna, Wash., and was the oldest of three sons born to Rosco and Kate Jordan. He grew up in La Grande, later moving to Baker City where he lived for over 40 years and worked as a welder. In 1941, he married Dorothy Walker of La Grande. He and his wife moved to Eugene in 1996. Rusty enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and playing cards. … Read more
