Andrew Crabtree, 80, a resident of the Maupin District for more than 43 years, died at his home there this morning. Mr. Crabtree was born in Jackson County, Mo., October 12, 1851, and crossed the plains by ox team with his parents, Job and Sarah [Constable] Crabtree at the age of two years. The pioneer party came by way of the Green River Trail crossing the Meacham Pass to Oregon.
