Biography of Justus Nathan Baird
Justus Nathan Baird, born March 17, 1882, in Iowa, became an influential attorney in Kansas City, Kansas, after being admitted to the bar in February 1909. A graduate of the University of Michigan, he established a successful legal practice in the Husted Building, earning the respect of his peers. He comes from a farming family with strong values, and his father was a notable Iowa pioneer. Baird married Amelia Ware in 1911, and they have one son, Justus N. Baird, Jr.
