Biographical Sketch of Dr. F. H. Gardner

Dr. F. H. Gardner, born on March 16, 1839, in Sublette, Illinois, is a well-regarded physician based in Moline. A graduate of the Chicago College of Pharmacy and Medical Department Union of Illinois, he briefly served in the Chicago Zouaves from 1886 to 1887. Committed to the Republican Party, he has been a United States pension examiner since 1897. He is also an esteemed member of the Masonic Doric Lodge, and married Anna Van Horn that same year. His character and professional reputation have made him a respected figure in his community.
