Enterprise, Oregon Wayne Clark died of natural causes at a care facility in Star, Idaho, on May 31, 2006. He was 96. Mr. Clark was born on Sept. 23, 1909 on a homestead ranch in Hill City, Idaho, to Frank and Viola Clark. He was one of seven children. He went to high school in Carey, Idaho, after the Clark family moved to a ranch outside of Picabo, Idaho. Union, Union County, Oregon Rulen Frank Collier, 86, of Union, died March 24, 2005, at his home. His funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Union. Don Baxter will conduct the service. Interment will be at the Union Cemetery. Visitations will be Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Valley in La Grande and on Wednesday at noon at the church prior to the service. Death Comes To Wickham Willis James Wickham, 73, long time resident of Elgin, Union County, died late yesterday evening in La Grande after a long illness. He was born July 25, 1878, in Carlton Center, Mich. He came with his parents by wagon train to the Grand Ronde Valley when he was about 12 years old. He operated butcher shops in Elgin, Boise and Star, Ida. He was also active in logging operations in Union County for several years.
