Allen, L. A. – Obituary

Levi Arbon Allen, born March 6, 1895 in Bradford, Tennessee, died February 18, 1958. He was the youngest child of Margaret Bell and Bevely Allen, and came to Wallowa, Oregon with his father in 1904. They took out a homestead on Smith Mountain where Arbon grew to manhood. He was married to Violet Hearing who survives him. Four children were born: Hazel (Mrs.) Bud Sleuter) of Pendleton, Warren and Wanda of Pendleton and Bernice (Mrs. Charles Wasson) of Wisconsin. Hall, Izora Gregory Mrs. – Obituary

Izora Gregory Hall, 96, of Santa Barbara, Calif., and a former Baker City resident, died Dec. 19, 2000, at Santa Barbara. She will be interred in the Lostine Cemetery next to her husband, Wade B. Hall. A memorial service will take place next spring in Northeastern Oregon. The time and place will be announced later. Mrs. Hall was born Oct. 8, 1904, near Elgin, the first child of J.
