La Grande, Oregon Dorothy Laree Norton Britton Kuba, 74, of Cottage Grove and formerly of La Grande and Wallowa County, died March 15. A graveside memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. March 24 at the Wallowa Cemetery. A lunch for family and friends will be served at 1 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Enterprise. Long-time Hermiston resident, Ruth Loretta Scott-Burnett, died August 1, 1995, at Good Shepherd Community Hospital in Hermiston. She was 88 years of age. She was born on March 16, 1907 in Athena, the daughter of Arthur and Daisy Bryson-Scott. She graduated from the University of Washington and the taught kindergarden and high school in Stanfield and kindergarden in Seneca.
