Baker City Lewis Everett “Lew” Bradford, 77, of Baker City, died Feb. 17, 2005, at his home from a massive heart attack. His funeral was at 1 o’clock today at the Baker Elks Lodge, 1896 Second St. Members of the Elks Lodge and Pastor Roger Scovil of the Baker City Christian Church officiated. There was a reception afterward at the Elks Lodge. Lew was born on Nov. 28, 1928, at Salem to Elbert and Velma Bradford. He attended grade school at Salem and was a 1946 Eugene High School graduate. Stephen P. Collver, of High Valley, Oregon, died at the hospital at Salem, Oregon, Saturday, March 21, his death being due to a combination of diseases. Mr. Collver was born in Canada, March 2, 1843 and was at the time of his death 65 years and 19 days old. Belsher, Joseph – Obituary

Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Joseph Belsher died January.1st, 1919, at the open air sanitarium at Salem, Oregon. He went there from Wallowa County on June 24, 1918, for relief from tuberculosis of the bone. The deceased was born July 16, 1898, in Elk Creek, Texas County, Missouri. He came to Wallowa County in November 1914, and lived with his brother Forest Belsher, on a homestead in Crow Creek Pass. He was laid to rest in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Salem, Oregon. He leaves four brothers and sisters. Wallowa County Reporter, Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Thursday January 30, 1918.

Kenneth ‘Ken’ Smith Formerly of La Grande 1943-2009 Ken Smith, 66, of Salem and formerly of La Grande, died Oct. 12. A private family ceremony will be held in Portland in November. Ken was born Aug. 27, 1943, to G. LaVerne and Dorothy Smith in Chicago. He married his wife, Connie, in 1966. They had two children, Julie and Marc, and moved to La Grande in 1981.
