La Grande, Oregon Linda Carol Creel, 66, died April 9 at her home in La Grande. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 Seventh St. Mrs. Creel was born Aug. 6, 1940, to Harry and Audra Elizabeth (Edwards) Monroe in Rawlins, Wyo. On July 18, 1959, she married Charles F. Creel in Los Angeles, Calif. In 1967 they moved to La Grande from Evanston, Wyo. She was a devoted wife and mother and dedicated her life to her family. Baker City, Oregon Jerry Green, 63, a Baker City resident for 34 years, died June 13, 2004, at Phoenix, Ariz., where he was waiting for a liver transplant. His funeral was June 19 at Rupert, Idaho. There will be no memorial service in Baker City. He was born on Nov. 5, 1940, at Rawlins, Wyo. He worked as a serviceman for Oregon Trail Electric Co-op and was a collector of Lincoln cars. Ethel Ardine Jones, 88, of Rawlins, Wyo., a former Baker City and La Grande resident, died Dec. 2, 2000, at Rawlins, Wyo., of natural causes. Her funeral was Thursday at the Baker City Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2625 Hughes Lane. Mrs. Jones was born on July 24, 1912, to Robert and Ada Violet Hathaway Newby.
