Eva Mae Baum, 96, of Tacoma, Wash., a former longtime Baker City resident, died March 21, 2006, at her home in Tacoma. Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2625 Hughes Lane. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. HON. DOLPHES BRICE HANNAH. – This gentleman is the son of Brice and Celia Tade Hannah, and was born in Gallatin county, Illinois, October 11, 1822. His father, who was a substantial business man engaged in trade and forwarding, died in the spring of 1823, leaving a wife and two children, one boy and one girl.
