Biography of Theodore T. Shackelford, M. D.
Dr. Theodore T. Shackelford, a distinguished physician and surgeon, has practiced in Haskell since 1917. Born on January 31, 1886, in Okolona, Arkansas, he graduated from the University of Louisville in 1910 and began his medical career in Oklahoma. A World War I veteran, he served as a Lieutenant in the Medical Corps. Dr. Shackelford is actively involved in his community, serving as President of the local school board and engaging with various medical societies. He is married to Ivy L. Hathaway and has one son.
