She married at Guthrie March 30, 1921, Thomas Henry Tuton, a druggist at Arcadia, Okla., Mrs. Tuton is a member of the Methodist Church and is an Eastern Star. Samuel Martin married Catherine Hildebrand and their son William A. Martin married Nannie Lucas nee Guinn. They were parents of Almon Martin, born November14, 1842. Mrs. M. Majors [Magers] sister of Mrs. A. E. Bracken died Tuesday night [December 18, 1923] at her home on South Seventh Street, following a stroke of paralysis a few days ago. Funeral services for Oscar G. Lee, pioneer realtor and hotel man of Oklahoma City who died in Kansas City, Mo., Wednesday afternoon [June 13, 1934], will be held here at 10:30 a.m., Friday, it was announced Wednesday night. Death, caused by hardening of the arteries, came to Lee following almost a year’s confinement in St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. The McIntosh Creeks had been located along Arkansas River near the Verdigris on fertile timbered land which they began at once to clear, cultivate, and transform into productive farms. The treaty of 1828 with the Cherokee gave the latter a great tract of land on both sides of Arkansas River embracing that on which the Creeks were located.
