George Robinson Passes At Baker George H. Robinson, 73 year old Mesa Ariz., farmer and former La Grande resident, died in Baker suddenly Monday. Funeral services will be at the Snodgrass Funeral Home Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Gene Robinson will officiate and interment will be in City Cemetery. Mr. Robinson was born in La Grande, Nov. 18, 1882. He spent much of his life in Oregon. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edith L. Larry C. Nord, 53, of Pendleton and a former Baker City resident, died March 19, 2003. It was his request that there be no funeral service. Inurnment will be at Phoenix, Ariz. Mr. Nord was born Jan. 18, 1950, at Bagley, Minn., to Sigurd and Carol Annonson Nord. He was employed at Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution for 12 years. Mrs. Laura Sirrine, wife of Theodore Sirrine, of North Union, died of heart failure at about 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon of this week. Mrs. T. C. Sirrine passed away suddenly at the home residence in Union at 3 p. m. Tuesday last. She had been poorly for over two years. Mrs. Sirrine was Laura Holmes of Montpelier, Idaho.
