Biography of John Franklin Haskell

John Franklin Haskell, born in 1862 in Iowa, rose to prominence as the general manager and vice president of the Beatrice Creamery Company, one of America’s largest creamery organizations. Joining the family business founded by his brother George in Nebraska, Haskell’s early years were marked by hardship following his father’s death. Despite limited education, he worked various jobs and eventually led the company’s operations in Kansas and Topeka. Haskell’s dedication also extended to community service, holding leadership roles in local organizations. He and his wife, Helen, had seven children.
