Johnson, M.L. – Obituary

Mr. M.L. Johnson, formerly a well known figure at Lostine, died in Los Angeles, California, on January 31st. He had been married about a week when operated on for appendicitis, dying the next day. Mr. Johnson was reputed to have been a wealthy man at one time but the money went easy as it came and died with his fortune all gone. Union, Oregon Paula Errolo Burford, 80, of College Place, Wash., and formerly of Union died Sept. 17 at her daughter’s home. The funeral was held today at Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home in Milton-Freewater. Burial was at the Milton-Freewater Cemetery.
