Frances Lucille Brown, 87, died on June 18, surrounded by family at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Portland. She was born on July 14, 1917, in Lewellen, Nebraska. She was part of a large family and had nine brothers and sisters. After meeting and marrying Gerald Brown, she moved to Enterprise in 1947 where her husband founded Wallowa Valley Dairy.
