Biography of Ed E. Maxey, M. D.
Dr. Ed E. Maxey, born on August 21, 1867, in Illinois, has made significant contributions to the medical field in Idaho. A graduate of the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Chicago, he established a successful practice in Caldwell after completing his studies in 1891. He served as the resident surgeon for the Oregon Short Line Railroad and has been an active member of the State Medical Association of Idaho. A community leader, he held various public offices and is affiliated with the Masonic fraternity.
