Haines, Baker County, Oregon Delbert Jarman 81 of Riverside, California passed away June 11 in Kaiser hospital in Fontana, California. He is buried in Olivewood Cemetery in Riverside. Delbert was born in Haines, Baker County, Oregon in 1904 to William and Bertha Green Jarman Hart and had his schooling in Haines. He was married to Georgie Swan, another Oregonian, and moved to Riverside where they have resided for twenty four years. He was supervisor for the Ralston Purina Company for thirty years. Haines Man Killed At Cove Ore Cove, Ore., Feb. 26, Albert C. Springer of Haines was electrocuted Saturday afternoon while repairing electric transmission wires three miles east of here. The dead man had been visiting at the home of John Rutter, electrician, and when Mr. Rutter was called to town Saturday afternoon Springer volunteered to repair the wires which had broken and fallen to the ground. Mrs. Davidson, who was a member of the Baptist church in Haines, was born January 29, 1855 in Effingham, Illinois. She crossed the plains from Illinois to California in 1876 and in 1879 moved to Haines. She has made her home with Mrs. Maxwell for the past few years.
