Bork, Flora – Obituary

Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Bork received the sad news Thursday morning that their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Frank Bork, who lived at Emmett, Idaho, passed away that morning. Their son, Fred, took them to Emmett for the funeral. They returned home Sunday. Mrs. Frank Bork was Grace Sewell before her marriage and lived in Wallowa county many years before moving to Idaho. Noland, William “Bill” Harold – Obituary

Enterprise, Oregon William (Bill) Harold Noland, 83, of Enterprise, died Nov. 2 at Wallowa Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. A 2 p.m. memorial service will be conducted Saturday at the VFW Post 4307 Hall in Enterprise, with private burial in the Enterprise Cemetery. Mr. Noland was born Feb. 2, 1923, in Boise. At 16 he left school to join the Civilian Conservation Corps for a year. He returned to high school in Idaho but left again during his senior year to join the Air Force in December 1941. Carl B. Fetters, resident of the Ola section for many years, died at his home in Emmett the first of the week [October 15, 1940] and funeral services were held at the Bucknum Chapel, Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Fetters was born in Knox County, Ill., February 9, 1867, and was married to Lucy B. Milam October 30, 1888.
