Charlene N. Adams, 73, Baker City, died Aug. 6, 2005, at St. Elizabeth Health Services. Her graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Pastor Jack Bynum of Baker City United Methodist Church will officiate. Charlene was born on Jan. 23, 1932, at East Sanford, N.C., to Hugh and Virginia Tally Page. She was raised and educated at Sanford. She married Charles M. Adams on Sept. 26, 1947. After their marriage, they made their home at Baker City, where Charlene was a homemaker.
