Baker City, Oregon Charles W. Lupkoski, 48, of Baker City died June 6, 2003, at his home. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church at Pocahontas Road and and 17th Street. Pastor Tony Brandon of the church will officiate. Private interment will be at Mt. Granite, Grant County, Oregon John Keith “Jack” Ihrig, 75, died of acute leukemia on March 27, 2006, at Coquille at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and James Young. His funeral was at 10 a.m. today at the McEwen Bible Fellowship in Sumpter. Interment was at the Granite Cemetery in Granite. Pastor Mark Norenberg officiated. North Powder, Oregon Stephen Wariner, 49, of Sisters and of North Powder, died in a traffic accident in Pyles Canyon outside of Union Sept. 29. Celebration of life services will begin at 2 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Chapel in the Pines at Camp Sherman. Stephen was born Aug. 9, 1958, to Lee Roy and Norma Wariner in Fairbanks, Alaska. He graduated from Diamond High in Anchorage and joined the Ironworkers Local and worked as a journeyman in Alaska, Hawaii and Washington. He crabbed and fished commercially in the Bering Sea. Archie B. Chambers, 81, died this morning at St. Charles Memorial Hospital. He had been a Bend resident eight months, coming here from Fall City. He made his home at 133 1/2 Broadway Avenue. Mr. Chambers was a native of Dayton, Oregon. He is survived by a cousin, Mrs. Retta L. Montney of Fall City. The funeral is tentatively scheduled for Dallas, at a time to be announced later. Barbara V. Lockwood, a resident of Redmond, died March 25, 2007, of heart failure. She was 63. Ms. Lockwood was born March 5, 1944, in Enterprise to Alonzo A. and Versie Puderbaugh Lockwood. She attended school in Joseph through her junior year when the family moved to Kennewick, Wash. She graduated high school there in 1962. Ms. Lockwood worked for Columbia Aircraft Manufacturing in Bend. She enjoyed travel and hunting and was an avid gardener. Dale was born May 10, 1940, at Kelso, Wash., to Harry Carlile and Frieda Valentine Carlile. He attended school at Kelso/Longview where he loved playing football. After graduating from high school, Dale joined the U.S .Army and attended Ranger school. He was involved in the early years of the Vietnam War.
