Corunna Michigan

Mrs. Luna Omsby, affectionately called Grandma Ormsby, passed away on November 9, 1883, at the age of nearly 80, in the home of her son, Morris Ormsby, in Corunna. A resident of Michigan for 26 years, she was the wife of Philander Ormsby. Her life and legacy are fondly remembered in the community.

Mary E. Ormsby, aged 59, passed away on August 18, 1889, in Corunna. She was the wife of Morris Ormsby and had endured a six-year struggle with rheumatism prior to her death. This notice appeared in the Shiawassee American on August 28, 1889, and was contributed by Shelli Steedman.
