Mrs. Amanda Shock passed away on April 16, 1941, at her son Jesse’s home in Pine, Oregon. Born on August 15, 1862, in Indiana, she moved to Kansas and later Missouri, where she married George Shock in 1882. The couple relocated to Oregon in 1891. She is survived by her two sons, a daughter, two brothers, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Christian church in Haines, followed by burial at Haines cemetery on Saturday.

Germain in 1899, and they had one son, John Germain Lardner. Dr. Lardner was a Democrat and a member of the Catholic Church.
