Pomo Indian Bands, Gens and Clans

Many tribes have sub-tribes, bands, gens, clans and phratry.  Often very little information is known or they no longer exist.  We have included them here to provide more information about the tribes.

Cahlahtel Pomo. An unidentifiable band of Pomo, said to have lived in Mendocino co., Cal. Wiley in Ind. Aff. Rep. 1864, 119, 1865.

Haukoma. A Pomo division or band on the w. side of Clear lake, Cal, numbering 40 in 1851.
