Norma Jean Satterwhite, 62, died Aug. 6 at her home in La Grande. A celebration of life will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Loveland Funeral Chapel, 1508 Fourth Street, La Grande.

Norma Jean Satterwhite, 62, of La Grande, died comfortably at her family’s home Aug. 6 in La Grande. A gathering of friends and family will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Loveland Funeral Chapel.
Norma was born in Los Angeles in 1964. She lived and attended school in Lancaster, Calif., graduating from high school in 1964.
Norma lived and worked in La Grande as a CNA. She loved to decorate any place she lived beautifully with her flower gardens, angels and collectibles. She loved the holidays and spending time with her friends and family. Her only grandchild, Broc Turley of La Grande, held a special place in her heart.
Survivors include her children, Steven Maciej and his wife, Tina, of San Diego, Calif., and Cheryl Maciej, and her fiance, Alan Fortenberry, of La Grande; and brother, Dennis Williams of Tulsa, Okla. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine Williams of Stigler, Okla.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or any animal shelter.
