Clifford “Bruce” Culver, 55, of Cove died Feb. 16, 2006, at his home. A celebration of life will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at the First Baptist Church in La Grande.
Mr. Culver was born April 27, 1950, to Clifford and Jeannine Culver in La Grande. He graduated from Powder Valley High School and attended Eastern Oregon State College and Oregon State University.
He worked on his grandfather Powell’s cattle ranch until 1987, and for Fleetwood Travel Trailers for 13 years as a materials handler. He spent two years in Elgin working at the Boise plywood mill, and the last two years for Intermountain R.V.
On Dec. 18, 1987, he married Paula Healy in La Grande. They lived in Imbler for 17 years before moving to Cove. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as head usher and boys director of the Awana Club.
Survivors include his wife, who lives in Cove; stepchildren, Melissa J. Peery of Yelm, Wash., and Crystal R. Healy of Cove; brothers, Keith and Reed Culver; and his parents, all of North Powder.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church for the sanctuary remodeling fund in care of Loveland Funeral Chapel, 1508 Fourth St. La Grande, OR 97850.
