Noah Perry, a prominent and well known farmer, died at his home, one mile east of Clifford, this morning at 11 o’clock [August 2, 1908]. A complication of diseases, including acute stomach trouble, was the cause of death.
The late Mr. Perry was about sixty-three years old and had been a resident of the Clifford neighborhood for the past forty years. He was a veteran of the Civil War and after the close of that conflict moved to the Clifford community, where he spent the rest of his life. He held a membership in the Fidelity Lodge Knights of Pythias at Edinburg.
A widow, two sons, John and James, and the following daughters survive; Mrs. Harry Sims, Mrs. J. C. Linke, Mrs. Ora Hamblen, Mrs. Herbert Fishel, Mrs. Ralph Heilman, and Miss Nelle Perry. All of the children live in this county.
The funeral will be held from the late residence Monday morning at 10 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Pond. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.
