Baker City, Oregon Arnold Eugene “Arnie” Fleetwood, 69, of Baker City, died Dec. 6, 2002. At his request, there will be no services, and he will be interred with his son, Mike. Arnie was born Jan. 2, 1933, to George William and Ruth Marie McGragh Fleetwood in Omaha, Neb. He was raised in orphanages most all of his youth, but received an education and graduated in Omaha. Millhouse, Dale J. – Obituary

Baker City, Oregon Dale J. Millhouse, 64, a resident of Baker City, died Dec. 16, 202, at St. Elizabeth Health Services. Following Dale’s wishes, disposition was by cremation at Gray’s West Pioneer Crematory. No services will be held. Dale was born Sept. 1, 1938, to Harry B. and Marie (Miles) Millhouse in Salinas, Calif. He graduated from high school in El Cahon, Calif., and in 1961 he joined the U.S. Army, where he served in Germany during the occupation of Berlin. Following his discharge from the military in 1964, he continued to reside in California for the next nine years.

Homer C. Hurt, 87, a longtime resident of Baker City and Richland, died Oct. 9, 2002, at Physician’s Hospital at Reno, Nev. His ashes were buried with his wife, Ruth, Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Hurt was born on May 22, 1915, at Chatsworth, Ill. Survivors include his son, David Hurt of Sparks, Nev.; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
