On last Sunday morning a memorial service, in honor of the memory of Miss Lizzie Miller, was held at the Presbyterian church. There was a large attendance of the young friends of the deceased lady who had but a short time before mingled among them full of life and apparent happiness. Rev. M. Howard Nicholas Miller, 86, of Union, died Tuesday, May 4, 1993, at Mountain Vista Care Center. At his request, there will be no funeral service. Mr. Miller was born on Nov. 25, 1906, at Alicel, to W. D. and Alice Mires Miller. On July 14, 1934, he married Fredrica Spain at Union. He was a logging foreman for Marbaitz Logging in Birney, Calif. The family moved to Union in 1974. Cove, Union County, Oregon COVE, Jan. 6. (Special) – Henry C. Miller, 65, of Portland, a brother of George Miller of this place, and Charles Miller of Burns, died suddenly at his home in Portland Friday, Dec. 30. Two nephews, John Miller and Lynn Chadwick were called from here to Portland. The funeral services were held at the Summerville chapel, the W. H. Cove, Union County, Oregon Infant Daughter Is Buried Today Gilberta Ann Miller, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Miller, passed away at the family home in Lower Cove Thursday morning at 11:30 o’clock. Cove, Union County, Oregon Gilbert Miller, 68, died Wednesday at his home at Route 1, Cove. He was the son of Ernest and Anna Miller, born October 28, 1906 in Union.
