About History of Idaho

This work on Idaho covers the three distinct time periods of Idaho's history - ante-territorial, territorial, and state. Within each of these periods the author describes the events, people, and other aspects of the area, that molded and developed Idaho into the land we know it as today. This history also contains biographical sketches of many of Idaho's prominent and distinguished citizens. Historical works, like this one, are great sources for learning about the time and place in which your ancestors lived, and can help you place your ancestors into historical context. This database currently only contains volumes 1-3 of this series. The remaining volumes will be added to the database shortly.
