Early Germans of New Jersey

This database contains an account of the history, churches, and genealogies of the early German settlers in New Jersey. The author consulted numerous records in researching these three areas and believes his work to be as complete and accurate as possible. Some records examined include wills in Trenton, church records in German Valley, Lebanon, Mount Pleasant, New Germantown, and Stillwater inscriptions from cemeteries, and records in Belvidere, Flemington, Morristown, Newton, and Somerville. The database also includes several illustrations and a few maps.
