The work at hand captures the genealogical essentials of the oldest surviving will records for Preble County. The abstracts found here furnish the name of the testator, the date the will was recorded, names of wives, children and childrens' spouses, names of executors, names of witnesses to the will and, in some cases, the location of land bequeathed in the will. The indexes identify some 3,500 Preble Countians.
