About Preble County, Ohio Marriage Records Vol. I 1808-1830 and Vol. II 1831-1840
Preble County, Ohio was created in 1808 from Montgomery and Butler counties. This work is a compilation of all the marriage licenses from "Record Book A," the earliest extant collection of Preble County marriages. Arranged alphabetically by the name of the groom, each marriage also gives the bride's maiden name, the date of the license, the name of the minister, and a page reference to the original record.
