    Sinai Congregation, Chicago, Marriages Database:

    This is a database of information on 526 marriages, contained in two small books with handwritten notations attributed to Rabbi Bernhard Felsenthal, compiled by Fran Loeb Luebke. Title: Marriage records, Sinai Congregation, Chicago, IL, records entered from 1861-1905.

    The Rabbi Aaron Gorovitz Boston Marriage Database:

    This database contains records of 971 marriages, 1910 to 1956, performed by Rabbi Aaron Gorovitz of Boston, as extracted from his personal notebooks by Joseph Douglas Lurie. There are gaps in the years covered by the marriage records, and no records exist for the years 1919 through 1926. It is known that a significant number of other marriages were performed by R. Gorovitz for which the records either no longer exist or their whereabouts are unknown.

    The Rabbi Ber Boruchoff Marriage Database:

    This database contains records of 1,423 marriages, 1906 to 1939, performed by Rabbi Ber Boruchoff of Malden, Massachusetts, as extracted from his personal notebooks by David Rosen.

    Rabbi Ber Boruchoff was the first Rabbi in the city of Malden, Massachusetts. In his personal notebooks, Rabbi Boruchoff recorded 1,423 marriages performed in Malden and the surrounding areas during his thirty-three years of service (1906-1933) at Congregation Beth Israel of Malden.

    Each record includes:

    • Names of bride and groom

    • Ages of bride and groom

    • Occupations of bride and groom

    • Birthplaces of bride and groom

    • Residences of bride and groom

    • Parents’ names

    • Number of marriages (Number of marriages is usually "first", but could also be "second" for widowed or divorced persons.)

    • marriage date

    Not all records contain all fields.
